My perspective on illegal immigration

“Like the surge of 15,000 Haitian migrants who arrived in Del Rio over the past week, most of the migrants in Central and South America left Haiti years ago, many of them after the 2010 earthquake, and have been living in other countries.”

😱
*NO to shortcut (i.e. crossing the river and expect immediate acceptance). FOLLOW the rules. WE DID. You don’t just knock into another person’s house then ask to be taken in just like that. And when the owner declines, you don’t guilt trip them and ask them (legal citizens/residents/taxpayers) to pay for anything (like your plane ticket to go back home). πŸ˜‘
People who really need help are not choosy and don’t force their own way, they are thankful to any country who accepts them (after they respectfully followed the rules of that country).
Some might say I am heartless but πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ really needs to change some of their laws, birth tourism is even a huge problem here. Sadly, most illegal immigrants seem to be not afraid nor ashamed especially after giving birth to their kids here and the kids are American citizens. Even in a third world country like Philippines, a child need to have at least one Filipino parent to get citizenship or apply a citizenship as an adult.
Good citizens/residents follow the rules from the start.
They show respect by following the rules. No excuses. Good guests respect and follow the rules of the house owner. Simple logic. Simply analogy.
Why do the U.S (and other first world countries) need to shoulder other countries problems? If they want to help, THANK YOU. If not, ok. We are responsible for our own country same with our lives.
